Why?

You already know Django; now it's time to take your skills to the next level.

This class is intended for students who already know and are using Django. It's an intermediate- to advanced-level level class; students will be expected to have used Django for at least a few months prior to the class.

Who?

The instructor is Jacob Kaplan-Moss (bio), one of the creators and core developers of Django, and co-author of The Definitive Guide to Django.

Where?

The training will take place at the Q Hotel & Spa in Kansas City. The hotel has been newly renovated to be a nationally-recognized "green" hotel. It's a very "geek-friendly" hotel: free WiFi in rooms and throughout the hotel, in-room iPod/iPhone docks, HDTVs, etc.

The hotel is in Kansas City's Wesport district, and is in walking distance to dozens of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and the like. Westport is the place to be in Kansas City after dark, so there's plenty to do after classes end. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to other parts of Kansas City.
